A Cozy December Wedding at Fern Hill Barn
Carrie and Javier’s December wedding at Fern Hill Barn was the kind of day that feels warm from start to finish, no matter the season. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they planned a celebration that felt intentional, relaxed, and full of connection.
Before the ceremony, Carrie and Javier chose to do a no-peek in the greenhouse. It was a sweet way for them to say hello, calm their nerves, and share a quiet moment together without seeing each other just yet. The greenhouse setting made it feel especially cozy and private, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
Their ceremony took place inside in front of Fern Hill’s stone fireplace, creating an inviting and intimate atmosphere. With the fire glowing behind them and loved ones close by, the ceremony felt warm and meaningful, perfectly suited for a winter wedding.
After the ceremony, we took family, wedding party, and couple photos during cocktail hour. This timing kept the day moving smoothly and allowed everything to unfold in a relaxed, natural way while still capturing all the moments that mattered.
The toasts and parent dances were a highlight of the night, centered on the importance of family, friendship, and the relationships that have shaped Carrie and Javier into who they are. There was so much laughter, a few tears, and a lot of love filling the room.
To wrap up the night, we snuck outside for a few photos by the gazebo under the winter sky. It was the perfect quiet ending to a day that felt warm, genuine, and full of joy.
Carrie and Javier, thank you for trusting us to document your beautiful Fern Hill Barn wedding. It was such a pleasure to be part of your day.
