A Winter Sunset Wedding at Fern Hill Barn
Faith and Riley’s December wedding at Fern Hill Barn embraced the quiet beauty of a winter evening. They chose not to do a first look, instead saving their first time seeing each other for the ceremony. To make the most of the limited daylight, we photographed each side of the wedding party outside before the ceremony. This allowed everyone to take advantage of the remaining light and helped save time later during cocktail hour.
As the sun set, Faith and Riley exchanged vows outdoors in the cold December air. Guests were kept warm with cozy blankets, adding to the intimate atmosphere of the ceremony. The setting felt especially fitting for the season, with a dark and moody feel as daylight faded. The ceremony was officiated by Faith’s brother and was deeply personal and meaningful.
After the ceremony, Faith and Riley, along with their full wedding party and family, headed back outside for portraits. Despite the cold and darkness, everyone embraced the moment, resulting in striking winter images that reflected the mood of the evening.
The celebration continued indoors with a lively reception that quickly turned into an unforgettable dance party. From the thoughtful planning to the energy on the dance floor, Faith and Riley’s wedding was a true celebration of who they are and the people who matter most to them.
