A Monday Wedding in the Spring
Sarah and Katherine’s April wedding showed that the day of the week really doesn’t matter when the right people are in the room. With many of their guests traveling in, Monday felt just as full and energetic as any weekend celebration.
They chose to have their ceremony outdoors, and while it was a bit windy, it came with that early spring feeling where everything is just starting to turn. A friend officiated, which made the ceremony feel personal and true to them. They kept their wedding party small, which helped everything move smoothly and kept the focus on what mattered most.
Sarah wore a beautiful dress with a long train that picked up in the breeze, while Katherine wore a green suit paired with cowboy boots, a subtle nod to her Texas roots. Their styles complemented each other well and felt natural to who they are.
After the ceremony, we spent some time in the greenhouse for portraits before heading back to the reception. Later in the evening, we stepped outside for a few quick sunset photos, giving them a quiet moment together before rejoining everyone inside.
It was a relaxed, easygoing day with a great group of people and a lot of genuine excitement around these two. Congratulations Sarah & Katherine!
