Spring Wedding at Fern Hill Barn in Spencer, MA
Katie and David’s wedding at Fern Hill Barn was everything a spring celebration should be—beautiful, and full of personality. Although the forecast called for rain, the skies stayed clear for their outdoor ceremony and portraits across the grounds.
Instead of traditional getting ready photos, Katie and David opted to start coverage with a first look, followed by wedding party portraits. This choice gave them a relaxed, unhurried cocktail hour to enjoy time with family and take their couple portraits while guests mingled.
Their soft lilac, green, and gray palette was perfect for the season, and the floral designs brought everything together beautifully. Thoughtful details were tucked into every part of their day—from hot sauce and honey favors to a custom Katie & David word search and games card at each place setting. Guests were invited to sign painted rocks instead of a guestbook, adding a playful and personal touch.
It was clear from the start that Katie and David wanted a day that felt true to them, and they had a fantastic time celebrating with the people they love most. We’re so glad we got to be there to capture it all!
