A Beautiful Wednesday Wedding in June
Katrina and Chris were married on a beautiful June Wednesday at Fern Hill Barn, surrounded by their closest family and friends for an intimate celebration.
They chose to begin the day with a first look, skipping getting ready photos so they could spend a little quiet time together before the ceremony. One of our favorite details from the day was Katrina's stunning black wedding dress, which perfectly reflected her style and made such a beautiful statement. Afterward, we captured a few portraits around the property before one very special guest joined us. Their dog, Buster, made an appearance for some adorable photographs before taking on an important role as the ring bearer.
Their ceremony was warm, personal, and filled with the people who mean the most to them. After saying "I do," we photographed family and wedding party portraits before exploring the Fern Hill grounds for more couple photographs.
Katrina and Chris had never actually seen the Fern Hill property in person before their wedding day. Since they don't live nearby, they experienced the gardens, greenhouse, and beautiful grounds for the first time together, making their portraits feel even more special.
The celebration continued inside with nice toasts, their first dance, parent dances, and cake cutting before everyone filled the dance floor. As the evening light softened, Katrina and Chris slipped away for a few sunset photographs before heading back inside to celebrate the rest of the night with their family and friends.
