Megan and Daniel celebrated their wedding on a beautiful late May day at Fern Hill Barn. The morning began with pouring rain, but as the day went on, the weather steadily improved. By the time guests arrived for the ceremony, the skies had cleared, the grass had dried, and it turned into a perfect spring day.
These two are incredibly sweet, and the love surrounding them was evident from the very beginning. In fact, it seemed like all Daniel and his brothers could do to keep from tearing up throughout the day.
Before the ceremony, Megan and Daniel shared a first look in the greenhouse. Afterward, we explored the grounds together, finding dry spots around the property for photos while the last of the morning rain disappeared. We then completed wedding party and family photos before guests gathered for the ceremony.
The ceremony was officiated by a friend who did a wonderful job making it personal and meaningful. Megan and Daniel wrote their own vows, and the stories shared throughout the ceremony painted a beautiful picture of their relationship and the life they are building together.
Family played an important role in the celebration. Megan's brother was able to return from California, where he is stationed with the Marines, to be part of the wedding. Daniel also had family travel to Massachusetts to celebrate alongside them. It was clear how much it meant to everyone to be together for such an important day.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed time visiting, sharing stories, and celebrating with the newlyweds. There were touching toasts, plenty of laughter, and some dancing before Megan and Daniel slipped away for a private last dance to end the evening together.
It was a joy to spend the day with these two and the people who love them. Their wedding was filled with warmth, happy tears, and genuine connections from start to finish.
A small personal note: this wedding was especially meaningful for our team. Megan and her brother are former students, and their mom is a former colleague of our studio manager and photographer, Elin (who used to be a teacher). Photographing this day and celebrating alongside their family felt like coming full circle, and it was such a treat to spend time with them again on such a beautiful day.
Congratulations, Megan and Daniel!
