A Beautiful Spring Wedding with an Outdoor Ceremony
Lisa and Rich had such a beautiful wedding day. It was a gorgeous spring afternoon and although the wind picked up just before the ceremony, it still felt like the perfect kickoff to wedding season. Their ceremony was our first outdoor ceremony of the year, which made the day feel even more exciting.
One of the things we loved most about Lisa and Rich’s wedding was how relaxed the timeline felt. Even without doing a first look, they were able to complete many of their wedding party and family photos before the ceremony. It helped the day flow smoothly and allowed them to spend more time simply enjoying the celebration.
Family played a big role throughout the entire day. Lisa’s wedding party included one of her close friends along with her four daughters and her granddaughter, which made those moments especially meaningful. Rich also had family members standing with him, showing just how important family is to both of them.
After the ceremony, we explored the grounds for couple portraits. We stepped into the greenhouse for a few photos, which was a perfect location since Lisa loves gardening and the space held special meaning for them. We also headed inside and finished family photos in front of the beautiful stone fireplace.
The reception brought the wedding party together at a farmhouse style head table while they shared dinner with their closest family and friends. The speeches and toasts were wonderful and the whole evening had such a warm and joyful atmosphere.
The details tied everything together beautifully. Sage green bridesmaid dresses, coordinating green napkins, and gorgeous florals created a soft and elegant look that fit the day perfectly.
Lisa and Rich’s wedding was such a wonderful way to begin the outdoor ceremony season, and we were so happy to be there to capture it.
