Val & Ben’s Early Spring Wedding at Fern Hill Barn
Val and Ben’s April wedding at Fern Hill Barn in Spencer, MA, was the perfect early spring wedding in New England—an overcast but warm day that made it easy to spend time outdoors. Their ceremony took place outside, surrounded by the soft greens of early spring and the most beautiful pink and green florals.
Val’s bridesmaids wore stunning green dresses that tied everything together, while Ben and his groomsmen looked sharp in dark gray suits. The color palette was such a fresh, classic choice for the season, and everything felt light, joyful, and full of life.
One of the sweetest parts of the day was during the ceremony—Val and Ben have a pretty big height difference, and Val stood on a step stool so they could be eye-to-eye as they exchanged vows. It was such a simple, adorable moment that had everyone smiling.
After the ceremony, guests gathered inside the barn ballroom for a lively reception. The cozy space was a perfect fit for their celebration, with the spring florals continuing inside to keep everything feeling bright and welcoming. Once the dance floor opened up, the party really kicked off—Val and Ben and their guests had an incredible time dancing the night away.
