Alyssa & Mike’s Rainy October Wedding at Fern Hill Barn
Alyssa and Mike’s October wedding at Fern Hill Barn proved that a little rain can make a wedding day even more memorable. The fall colors were at their peak and the misty atmosphere added a romantic glow to the entire celebration.
They chose not to do a first look, so we photographed each side of the wedding party separately before the ceremony. The greenhouse was the perfect spot to stay dry while still capturing the beautiful fall setting, and umbrellas made for fun and colorful wedding party photos.
Alyssa’s brother officiated a personal ceremony that had everyone smiling. After they said their vows, we explored the grounds for couple photos and they even braved the rain for some dreamy foggy portraits outdoors. The fall foliage and soft rain created a stunning backdrop that felt straight out of a movie.
The night continued with laughter, celebration, and a packed dance floor under the tent. Rain or not, Alyssa and Mike embraced the day and created a celebration full of joy, color, and unforgettable moments at Fern Hill Barn.
