Brianna & Joe | A Sweet and Sunny Wedding at Fern Hill Barn
Brianna and Joe’s wedding day at Fern Hill Barn in Spencer, MA was the kind of celebration that just felt right. Full of joy, sunshine, and all the little moments that make a wedding day unforgettable, these two were so ready to say “I do”—and nothing was going to stand in their way.
Luckily, the weather delivered a perfect early fall day with crisp air and golden light. We explored the Fern Hill grounds for photos, including a walk down the hill into the ferns for some dreamy, tucked-away portraits. The setting was beautiful, but it was Brianna and Joe’s sweet connection that really stole the show.
One of the most touching parts of the day was their “first touch” before the ceremony. Without seeing each other, they stood back-to-back around a corner and held hands, taking a few quiet moments to talk. Brianna later said it helped calm her nerves—and it was such a genuine, emotional moment to witness.
The details of the day were just as thoughtful. Brianna and her mom made all the flowers and centerpieces by hand, adding candy and playful love quotes to each table. It made the whole space feel so personal and welcoming—just like the couple themselves.
The afternoon flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter, happy tears, and dancing with the people they love most. Everyone was excited to celebrate Bri and Joe, and the good vibes were contagious. We even got a good chuckle reminding our own Joe Dolen that he wasn’t the most important Joe of the day!
