Relaxed Moments, Friends and Family, and a Night to Remember
Sarah & Peter's wedding was one of those wedding days that felt relaxed from beginning to end. With plenty of time built into the schedule, the day never felt rushed, giving everyone the chance to enjoy each part of the celebration while creating beautiful photographs along the way.
We began with getting ready photographs before Sarah and Peter shared their first look at Fern Hill Barn's back gazebo. From there, we explored the property together, taking advantage of the beautiful gardens, greenhouse, swing, and so many of our favorite spots around the grounds for couple photographs before guests arrived.
Their gorgeous color scheme with shades of blue made for a classic summer wedding. Sarah's side dressed in light blue and Peter's side in navy. The color combination looked incredible together and tied in perfectly with the day's elegant design. Their blue and white floral arrangements, coordinated linens, and carefully chosen details created a fresh, timeless look throughout the venue.
With a large wedding party and plenty of family photographs to capture, doing everything before the ceremony allowed the rest of the day to flow smoothly. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy cocktail hour after the ceremony without feeling like they had missed time with friends and family.
Just before the ceremony, an unfortunately timed rain shower rolled through, sending everyone indoors. While it wasn't part of the original plan, the indoor ceremony was just as meaningful, surrounded by the people who mattered most.
Once the rain passed, we stepped back outside for a few more couple photographs before the celebration continued inside. The reception was filled with wonderful toasts, great food, and a packed dance floor. As the music picked up, guests grabbed glow wands and filled the dance floor, creating a fun ending to an already beautiful day.
