Golden Light & Summer Celebrations
Jess and Tommy had a perfect late July wedding day at Fern Hill Barn in Spencer, Massachusetts. With the grounds at their summer best and beautiful weather from start to finish, they were able to enjoy every part of the day outside with their family and friends.
We started with getting ready photos before Jess and Tommy met in the greenhouse for their first look. They took a few minutes there to exchange private vows before we headed around the Fern Hill grounds for photos of the two of them together.
Jess looked gorgeous in a strapless wedding gown, while Tommy wore a classic navy suit. The bridesmaids wore light blue, and the groomsmen wore gray, a combination that looked perfect for a summer wedding. After couple photos, we brought everyone together for wedding party and family photographs before the ceremony.
Their ceremony took place outside at the gazebo and was officiated by Jess’s uncle, making it an especially personal part of the day. With most of their formal photographs already finished, Jess and Tommy were able to enjoy their celebration without feeling rushed.
Later in the evening, we took advantage of the warm golden light for a few more photos of Jess and Tommy around the property. It was one of those summer evenings at Fern Hill that makes it hard to resist heading back outside for just a few more photographs.
From there, it was all about celebrating. Jess and Tommy spent the rest of the night surrounded by their friends and family, with a packed dance floor and so much energy throughout the reception. It was such a fun ending to a beautiful summer wedding day at Fern Hill Barn.
