Gorgeous August Wedding at Fern Hill Barn
Kristena and Steven’s August wedding at Fern Hill Barn in Spencer, Massachusetts may have fallen on one of the hottest days of the year, but that didn’t take away from the beauty or fun of the day.
They chose not to do a first look, so the beginning of the day was spent photographing Kristena and Steven separately as they got ready, along with photos of each side of the wedding party before the ceremony. It gave us plenty of time to capture those moments while still saving the first time they saw each other for the ceremony.
Their ceremony was beautiful and personal, with their family playing an important part in the celebration.
Afterward, we photographed the full wedding party together, followed by family photos that included their three children.
Before heading into the reception, we had time to take Kristena and Steven down by the pond for a few photos together. Even on such a hot August day, the grounds at Fern Hill gave us plenty of beautiful spots to work with.
The reception began with their first dance, followed by some lovely toasts and a photo table dash that gave them a chance to get a photograph with every table. Later in the evening, Kristena and Steven snuck outside with for a few nighttime photos before heading back inside to dance the night away.
It was a beautiful summer wedding filled with family, laughter, and plenty of celebrating. Congratulations, Kristena and Steven!
