Late-Summer Garden Magic | Makaela & Josh’s Fern Hill Barn Wedding
Makaela and Josh celebrated their gorgeous early September wedding at Fern Hill Barn in Spencer, MA. The day was filled with beautiful light, handmade details, and sweet personal touches in shades of blue and green.
Makaela looked stunning in her classic strapless gown with a ruffled layered skirt, while Josh and his groomsmen looked sharp in black tuxes. The bridesmaids’ sage green satin dresses tied everything together perfectly.
After a lovely ceremony, the couple explored the grounds for photos during cocktail hour, making their way through the gardens and down to the ferns for portraits in the late afternoon sun. All of the gardens were perfectly in bloom, creating the most gorgeous setting for photos.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when Makaela dedicated her bouquet to her mom as a surprise. Later that evening, Makaela shared a dance with her dad and Josh danced with his mom while everyone watched—a beautiful moment before the party kicked off.
Guests filled the dance floor and celebrated well into the night—an unforgettable day from start to finish.
