Rainy-Day Romance at Fern Hill Barn
Char and Nate’s late September wedding at Fern Hill Barn was a beautiful reminder that rain can’t dampen the joy of a wedding day.
A steady drizzle set the scene, but it didn’t slow these two down. They shared a private first look and exchanged personal vows inside the greenhouse, where we quietly captured a few moments through the raindrops on the glass. The soft light and cozy atmosphere made it one of the most romantic parts of the day.
Before the ceremony, they braved the weather for some couples photos and made the most of the gorgeous Fern Hill grounds. Char’s sister officiated the ceremony and did a wonderful job making it personal to them. Just as cocktail hour began, the rain eased up enough for family photos outside.
The reception in the barn ballroom was warm and inviting — the perfect setting for a rainy-day celebration. Char and Nate spent the evening surrounded by laughter, music, and nonstop dancing with family and friends.
